
Technique Restaurant is the upscale teaching restaurant of the world-renowned Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts - Los Angeles. Under the direction of Le Cordon Bleu chefs, students gain their practical training in the restaurant and display their culinary skills and talents. Nestled in the heart of Pasadena's Playhouse District, Technique Restaurant offers a contemporary environment and open kitchen to create an unforgettable dining experience.
The restaurant serves classical and contemporary American and International cuisine with an ever-changing menu, which focuses on seasonal offerings and reflects the school's ongoing innovations in cooking - emphasizing traditional French techniques, healthy cooking, creativity, and environmental sustainability.
Technique Restaurant and Technique Café are located in Pasadena's historic Star News Building. Located at 525 E. Colorado Blvd. LCB-LA’s new Technique building is located directly across the Pasadena campus main visitor’s entrance at 530 East Colorado Blvd. The building originally opened in August 1925 to house the Star News, San Gabriel Valley's newspaper. LCB-LA occupies the first four floors and over 35,000 square feet. The Technique campus includes six instructional kitchens, eleven classrooms, two computer labs, and The Cook Store for culinary books and supplies. The flagship Technique Restaurant and Café is located on the ground floor where students complete their educational requirements in a professional and modern environment.
Since Technique Restaurant is a classroom, the fixed service charge of 15% benefits the non-profit Career Education Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to deserving students.
